Blogging? Who me?

What do you mean a semicolon doesn't belong there?

What do you mean a semicolon doesn't belong there?

While my new website was under construction I began considering starting a blog. However, what would I write about? Starting a blog is a bit daunting; my inner critic quickly jumped in asking, “Do I have anything to say that an art collector or fellow artist might be interested in hearing about?”

With so many beautiful blogs floating around in "blog world" I decided to tell my blogging inner critic exactly what I tell my creative critic, “Let go of perfection and just be myself; my sometimes serious, sometimes silly self!

So, future posts may contain content about my techniques, about the inspiration behind a particular painting or something I have not even thought of yet. One thing is for sure my posts will be written either with deep concentration or by the seat of my pants; a lot like my painting style. Oh, a possible subject for another blog post.

Whatever I decide to write about I hope I am always informative with a slight sense of humor. Family members, I assure you, are a bit divided about that last point.

Thank you for taking time to read my blog. If you have any questions about my art I will gladly answer you directly. I’d would love to develop a blog post from your interest.
